It's just on 6 on Saturday morning and I came down to visit the bathroom. I'm not sure why I'm still up, other than to check and see if my friend in Reno is on-line. We are 8 hours apart and sometimes it is very difficult to connect. No luck this morning! The week is over and it has been difficult at work. I've been exhausted by just being there and each afternoon and evening it has taken quite a while to recover.
A few days ago Emma received her acceptance to the library course that she may want to do at UCL. It's a big boost to her confidence. She's also found her own flat and will be moving out over the next week or so. Big times ahead for Em.

It's Monday. How was the day at school?
Yes, been tough to connect with you over the past few days.
As you know, Sharlene was visiting from Chicago. She arrived on Tuesday and flew home via Phoenix around noon on Saturday. By 9 pm Saturday, she was back in Reno.
She got as far as Phoenix where she was told that due to bad weather, all flights to Chicago were being cancelled and they could not confirm her on another flight till Monday afternoon.
No compensation for lodging as cancellation was due to weather but they offered her free flight back to Reno and another Reno to Phoenix flight on Monday morning.
So, she returned to Reno, spent two additional nights with us and is now at the Reno Airport awaiting her second flight to Phoenix. Weather in Chicago looks good.
Mike has been up at Squaw since 6:30 am on Sunday. He hopes to get home this evening. His delay is due to heavy snow we are now experiencing on this edge of the country.
Susan, do you remember the time we sat reading in the terminal while our flight departed Guatemala City? I was thinking about that today. That wasn't due to weather. That was due to my negligence. I didn't pay any attention to the announcements. We returend to Antigua and flew to Belize City the next day.
